TRAILER

Loose Ends tells the story of a man, who can’t cope with the world and the people outside his door. So he created his secluded strange universe, filled up with cardboard boxes. Boxes for everything: nails, shoes, plants, but also courage, fun or pain. Everything is under control and all he needs can come out of a box.

One day, he decides to create a friend…and another one… and suddenly he finds himself all mixed up in emotions of friendship, betrayal, loyalty, jealously, catapulting him to the need of a big final decision between managing life on his own and the value of a real connection.

Loose Ends is about connecting, our need for it, but also about the tricky and messy bits that make part of the game.
Loose Ends feels warmly human, it is funny, it is sad, and in the end it is uplifting and encouraging.

"A wonderful exploration of friendship, imagination and imaginary friends, the show features a range of everyday machines as well as plenty of fun.The show incorporates Jens' signature chaotic energy, and his intriguing performance and quirky story line keep the audience intrigued throughout. The show features characters and wacky ideas that might come from the mind of a genius, or a child, or both!"
Tony Smith, Creative Producer Gasworks, Melbourne

Thank you for presenting Loose Ends here today. I had very positive feedback from patrons, particularly parents who liked the fact that their kids were so engaged in something not screen based!
Robyn Mc Nicol, Coordinator Whitehorse Centre, Victoria

Go see the show if you can. It is quirky. Funny and a lot clever.

42 word review of today's Loose Ends performance: A mad-quirky inventor moves out of his comfort zone in search of friendship. Altheimer’s one-man show is an exquisitely timed master class in non-verbal communication. Fun-loving and imaginative to the delight of small children, executed with the panache to keep adults bedazzled.
